Langshan Waterworks Project of Nantong City

Project Name: Langshan Waterworks Project of Nantong City

Project Description: The first phase of the Langshan Water Plant in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province was designed by the Nanjing Municipal Design Institute, and the Nantong Municipal Water Supply Research and Design Institute and the Nantong Municipal Design Institute participated. Construction started in December 1987, and the project was completed on October 16, 1990. It became the first fully automated and modern large-scale water plant in China at that time. The water source of the water plant is taken from the bank of Huangni Mountain in the Nantong section of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and the self-flow tunnel is used to divert water. Today, the Langshan Waterworks has a daily water supply capacity of 600,000 tons. Together with the daily water supply capacity of the other three large water plants, the entire Nantong regional water supply can meet the urban water supply target for the next 50 years or more.

Project scale: 600,000 tons / day

Service scope: automatic control and system integration

Project Highlights: China's first modern water plant project has opened a new chapter in the construction of China's modern water plants.
